Daily life is bursting with so many learning opportunities for little ones. At Home From Home, we believe that every day is a learning day. Our staff are trained to find valuable learning experiences for your child in everything we do.
Play is a fundamental part of childhood. Our role at Home From Home is to enable and facilitate play. Play is an essential part of a happy, healthy child. At Home From Home, the principles of play will underpin and support all of our policies and programmes for our children. Home From Home children will be able to experience high quality, stimulating play experiences as part of their daily lives. At Home From Home we follow the EYFS curriculum and encourage each child in our care to develop key life skills, build their confidence and thrive.
The Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 (EYFS) is a statutory framework which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years old and is closely aligned with our own values. Every aspect of our childcare has been designed with this framework in mind from our free flowing indoor areas to our high quality resources that stimulate the needs of new babies through to pre-schoolers. Our nurseries make no distinction between learning and play, our nursery teams are trained to use children’s play as a means of developing all children in all areas. We plan for all children “In the Moment” taking into account there key interests and development.
