I'm Emma, the owner of Home From Home Children's Day Care. I have many years’ experience in childcare working with all ages in nurseries, as a nanny and as a childminder in the Molesey area before opening Home From Home Nursery in 2012. I became a mum in 2014 and now have three beautiful boys; family means everything to me. I feel this has given me an even better understanding of what both parents and children need in a day nursery. Home From Home strives for greatness and we do this through parent partnership, taking on your ideas, beliefs and needs - after all, you know your children best! I believe that, given a safe, fun stimulating Home From Home environment with plenty of laughter and care, children will flourish and build confidence to challenge themselves. The main aim of Home From Home Children's Day Care is to provide the first stepping stones for your child's future.
Hello, My name is Steph and I am Deputy Manager here at Woking. I have worked in nurseries for over 10 years, learning and gaining my qualifications over this time.I have previous managerial experience but took a step back when I had my son in 2017. I joined the Home From Home Team in September 2016 as room leader at Molesey and have undergone further training to support me in my new role. I have recently become Makaton trained and this will help me to teach all children to be heard whether they can verbally communicate or not. I am also keen to enrol "loose parts" and "in the moment planning" throughout the nursery. As Deputy Manager I will ensure the nursery's vision and ethos is embedded into the setting and all children, parents and staff are valued and supported.
Hello, My name is Anna and I am the special educational needs coordinator and 3rd in charge here at home from home daycare. I have worked in childcare for 4 and a half years; gaining experience and skills along the way to ensure I am always caring, teaching and progressing the children in the best way I can. I am extremely passionate about my role as SENCO; both for caring for the children who need some additional support in any area and for working closely with the parents; which I feel is equally as important. I am always researching new ways I can implement fun and excitement into children's every day learning; I believe children show their true potential when they are happy and engaged , and children's happiness will always be at the core of everything I do.
